A graduate of the 2018 class of Republican Leadership for Georgia, Bethany received a BA in English Literature from the University of North Carolina and an MA in English from the University of Central Arkansas. She taught high school in both Arkansas and Marietta, GA. Currently, she is the Chairperson of the 8th Congressional District, the 1st Vice Chair of the Houston County Republican Party, and a member of the State GOP Permanent Rules Committee. In the past year, she managed Heath Clark’s re-election campaign in HD 147 and served as his legislative aide. She also teaches Sunday school and serves as acolyte coordinator at Perry United Methodist Church and is a media center volunteer and substitute teacher at Lake Joy Elementary School. Bethany has been married to her husband, Mike, an Air Force Colonel for 23 years and has two school age boys.
